Microwave Lab
The Microwave Lab supports intermediate and advanced courses in electromagnetics and microwave engineering, through hands-on experimentation.
It offers invaluable experience with concepts that are vital in various fields, including telecommunications, radar systems, and satellite communications.
Exploring topics like transmission line propagation, wave reflection, microwave circuit components, antenna designs, and radio receiver architectures helps you grasp theoretical concepts and gain practical skills that are invaluable in the industry.
These experiments are supported by state-of-the-art:
- Vector network analyzers (VNA)
- Oscilloscopes
- Signal generators
- Etching lab, to fabricate the antennas and microstrip circuits
