Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) Graduate Orientation

Fall 2024

The Orientation was held on Wednesday September 11th, 2024.

Winter 2025

On Thursday January 9th, 2025, 3 - 5pm, we will host orientation in GB202 to welcome new graduate students who will join ECE in the 2024-25 academic year. Students starting January 2025 and Sept 2024 who missed the Fall orientation are welcome to attend.

• The information session will commence at 3pm and run for approximately 75 minutes including an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
• Following the information session, we will host a mix-and-mingle reception with hors d’oeuvres. Students will have the opportunity to meet professors, returning ECE students, and other incoming students across all three of our degree programs.

Other Orientations

New students are also encouraged to attend the orientation offered by the School of Graduate Studies.

The University of Toronto Graduate Students' Union (UTGSU) may hold an orientation for new graduate students. If offered, details will be posted on the UTGSU website.

The Centre for International Experience (CIE) may offer pre-arrival and welcome services for new international students. Details are posted on the CIE website.
