Important Dates

The academic year is comprised of three sessions:  Fall, Winter, and Summer.

• The Fall session starts after Labour Day and runs from September through December
  • The University will be closed for a Winter Break from Tue. Dec. 24, 2024 to Fri. Jan. 3, 2025
    
• The Winter session starts after the Winter Break and runs from January through April
• The Summer session runs from May through August

In addition to the Winter Break, the University closes for 7 or more holidays each academic year.

There will be no classes in Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering graduate courses during the reading week in each of the Fall & Winter sessions.
