Computer and Internetworking Lab
The Computer and Internetworking Lab provides 40 Windows workstations loaded with the cutting-edge design and simulation software essential for specialized ECE courses, including those covering power systems, electronics, microwaves and multimedia.
In addition, the lab houses four networking cabinet racks dedicated to students who are exploring topics in internetworking. These racks are outfitted with many Linux-based workstations along with an array of routers and switches, forming a comprehensive system for the exploration of topics such as internetworking architectural models, data link layers, routing IP datagrams, Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP), internet multicasting and domain name systems (DNS).
Lastly, eight Linux virtual machines enhance your access to the full simulation capabilities of the internetwork system.
